CLCR is constantly on the
look out for organisations of any size to support the projects it works
so hard to realise. If you would like to get involved as an
organisation and sponsor a specific project, then please do not
hesitate to call or email us. Pat Price, the president of CLCR, would
love to hear from you! We at CLCR, have formed many positive relationships with Australian and Nepali organisations that are enthusiastic to help CLCR achieve social change and create opportunity for those in need through its projects. Below is an outline of the organisations that through utilisation of their facilities and services by tourists, particularly Australians, financially contribute to CLCR’s projects in some way.
CLCR is proud to be a partner for project J537 CLCR HCA Nepali School Project with Global Development Group (ABN 57 102 400 993), an AusAID approved NGO carrying out quality humanitarian projects with approved partners to relieve poverty and provide long term solutions. Global Development Group takes responsibility for the project according to AusAID rules, providing a governance role and assisting in the areas of planning, monitoring, evaluating and auditing to ensure that project J537 CLCR HCA Nepali School Project is carried out to Australian requirements. Tax deductible receipts for donations made by organisations, individuals and businesses in Australia (and the U.S.A.) for all our school project aid and education development activities in Nepal – as part of this approved aid and development project J537 CLCR HCA Nepali School Project – will be issued by Global Development Group (and GDGUSA). UNESCO, Nepal
UNESCO is the technical body officially coordinated by the United Nations within Nepal. CLCR have partnered with UNESCO primarily to help coordinate ongoing teacher training and professional development workshops specifically for the teachers of the school and of other schools in Nepal. Mainly to improve upon the current level of teaching within Nepali schools in an effort to lift the quality of education provided for the children of the country.
The
Women's Foundation of Nepal (WFN)
CLCR have paired with WFN in an effort to better coordinate educational
opportunities specifically for the young women of Nepal. The founder of
this organisation also acts as CLCR's and HCA's Corporate Relations
Manager in Nepal. We utilise both CLCR and WFN as two of the main fund
raising arms for the school project and its activities.
CurrambenaPreschool
and Primary School,

Australia
Currambena is an
Australian Democratic School offering education from preschool through
to the end of primary school. It has been formally operating as an
alternative educational facility to children throughout Sydney and
Australia for over 40 years. Currambena is affiliated with the HCA and
CLCR’s Nepali School Project as a Sister School. Currambena actively
supports the school through fundraising events, advertising the school
within its newsletters, providing resources and financial support for

Volunteer Programs
Future Sense
are a UK based group who specialise in offering specific programs based
upon providing people with the opportunity to do volunteer work in
specific fields (such as education or the environment, etc) and
communities around the world. They currently offer two brands of
volunteer program: 'Mondo-Challenge' which is seen as a provider of
placements for people taking a mid-career break and 'Gap Guru' which
works more with university students taking a gap year either before or
after university.

APC-International
APC are a French INGO that are currently working in Nepal t o provide street kids throughout Nepal with opportunities for shelter, food, socialisation and educational opportunities through their programs. APC take a holistic approach to providing welfare and care for the underprivileged children and population sectors they work with, taking kids from the street and supporting them through adolescence and beyond. We have linked with APC to provide further educational and hostel support at HCA to the children within their care, below is a picture of Rajesh who joined us from APC in 2009. In this picture he is participating in our Agricultural Skill Development Program (HAP).
The Rotary Club of Lane
Cove, Australia and Budhanilkantha, NepalCLCR has received financial support from the Rotary Club of Lane Cove, Australia and has also formed a working relationship and matching grant partnership with the Rotary Club of Budhanilkantha, Kathmandu, Nepal. Our partnership with these two clubs is based upon coordinating programs that provide resource based support, long term student scholarship funding, teacher and vocational training programs for the underprivileged Nepali population sectors we are supporting.

Learning is the
global leader in online Mathematics learning for school-aged students
with over
one million students inspired by our resources. Our mission is to engage
every student every day with a

inspires a delight in Mathematics and an innate drive to achieve better
results. CLCR has partnered with 3P to bring this program to every
Nepali
student and teacher within its Heartland School Project and school
computer
lab, this on-line initiative is part of our long term commitment to
lifting the
education rate of
Room to Read Room to Read partners with
local communities
throughout the developing world to provide quality educational
opportunities by
establishing libraries, creating local language children’s literature,
constructing schools, providing education to girls and establishing
computer
labs. CLCR has partnered with RtR to help support the development of
our
Lions Club of Lane Cove, Sydney Lions Clubs
have a long history of providing relief and
humanitarian aid to many underprivileged communities on an
international scale.
Lane Cove Lions Club is a newly formed club set up to support
initiatives of
local and international benefit to specific causes and disenfranchised
groups around
the world. CLCR has partnered with the Lane Cove Lions Club as a local
community partner to support its aid and educational development
